Uriel Bar-Am is a career Israeli diplomat who joined the Israeli Foreign Service in 1984 following his military service and academic studies. His career included key diplomatic postings such as service in Washington D.C., London, and as Israel's Ambassador to the Netherlands from 2007 to 2011. He served as Director-General of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2017.
