About
Rabbi Philip Moskowitz is the Associate Rabbi at Boca Raton Synagogue (BRS), where he joined in 2010 as Assistant Rabbi and helps lead a congregation of over 850 families and more than 1,000 children. He co-hosts the 'Behind the Bima' podcast with Rabbi Efrem Goldberg. Prior to BRS, he served as Program Director at Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future, developing and overseeing adult education programs for diverse audiences, and as assistant rabbi in Holliswood, Queens. He earned his bachelor’s degree and rabbinic ordination (semicha) from Yeshiva University. Known for his warm personality, dynamic teaching style, and engaging Torah lectures on platforms like YUTorah, he has authored articles for Aish.com on topics including Jewish unity and family. An enthusiast of outdoor activities like golf, tennis, and running, as well as reading on current events, American, and Israeli history, he remains loyal to his Boston sports teams. Moskowitz resides in Boca Raton with his wife, Arielle, a nurse practitioner. They have four children: Moshe, Shayna, Esti, and Rena. Tragically, their daughter Esti was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2022 and passed away at age 8; the family responded by dedicating the I-Shine program at Chai Lifeline to support children facing illness or loss, inspired by her radiant positivity.
