About
Jonathon Owen Shroyer, known professionally as Owen Shroyer, is an American media personality and conspiracy theorist born in February 1989. He began his career in local radio, hosting shows on KXFN and KFNS stations in the St. Louis area before joining the far-right platform InfoWars, founded by Alex Jones. From 2016 to 2025, he co-hosted the 'War Room' program on InfoWars, where he promoted conspiracy theories related to government cover-ups, election fraud, and COVID-19 vaccines. Shroyer became a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and was actively involved in events surrounding the 2020 U.S. presidential election. He participated in the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot, speaking at a rally and entering the Capitol grounds, which led to legal consequences. In 2023, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, receiving a sentence of 60 days in jail, two years of probation, and fines. His work has been widely criticized for spreading disinformation, and he has faced bans from major social media platforms, though he continues to engage with audiences through alternative channels, maintaining influence within conspiracy theory communities.
