Lisa Silverstein is the daughter of real estate developer Larry Silverstein, who founded Silverstein Properties in 1957. The firm, under family leadership, has developed major properties across the United States, including significant holdings in New York City—where it led the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site after the September 11, 2001 attacks—as well as in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. She serves as Vice Chairman and CEO of Silverstein Properties since October 2023. She was named one of Crain's New York Business Women of Influence for 2025, recognizing her contributions to the industry. In addition to her executive role at Silverstein Properties, Silverstein founded Talisa, a jewelry company that focuses on personalized, emotionally resonant pieces such as engagement rings. She has described drawing on over 30 years of experience in real estate development to bring a people-oriented approach to the jewelry market, emphasizing deep personal connections in her products.
