Rabbi Dr. Judah Goldberg is an emergency medicine physician, rabbi, and academic. He earned his B.A. from Yeshiva University's Yeshiva College in 2000 (YC '00) and graduated from Yeshiva University High School in 1996 (YUHS '96). He holds an M.D. and a Master of Bioethics (M.B.E.) from the University of Pennsylvania. Goldberg received semikha (rabbinic ordination) from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg under the auspices of Yeshivat Har Etzion in Alon Shevut, Israel, where he studied for several years. He teaches advanced Gemara and Talmud at the Stella K. Abraham Beit Midrash for Women in Migdal Oz, an affiliate of Yeshivat Har Etzion, and at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim. Goldberg practices emergency medicine at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel, as well as in Florida, United States. He is the brother of Rabbi Efrem Goldberg, senior rabbi of Boca Raton Synagogue in Florida. Goldberg is married to Rabbanit Shayna Goldberg, a prominent educator and mashgicha ruchanit (spiritual mentor) at the Stella K. Abraham Beit Midrash for Women in Migdal Oz. He has contributed to Jewish thought on bioethics, including writings on truth-telling in medical contexts from a Jewish perspective.
