About
Jerome Robert Corsi (born August 31, 1946, in East Cleveland, Ohio) is an American writer, conspiracy theorist, political pundit, and author known for promoting far-right narratives, including birtherism, 9/11 trutherism, anti-Obama narratives, and other conspiracy theories. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University in 1972 and initially worked in finance before transitioning to investigative journalism and authorship. Corsi co-authored the No. 1 New York Times bestseller 'Unfit for Command: The Smear Campaign Against John Kerry' in 2004, which criticized Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry and was accused of containing inaccuracies. He followed with 'The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality' in 2008, another bestseller that attacked Barack Obama's background and promoted birtherism, drawing widespread criticism for factual errors. Corsi has continued to author books and appear in media promoting conspiracy theories related to QAnon, election fraud, and globalist plots, collaborating with figures like Sean Hannity and contributing to conservative websites such as WND. His work often blends political commentary with apocalyptic themes, and despite commercial success, his claims have been condemned by fact-checkers and mainstream outlets for spreading misinformation. He married Monica in 1991 and remains active in conservative media circles. During the Robert Mueller Special Counsel investigation, he was represented by legal counsel Larry Klayman.
