About
Govind Persad is an Associate Professor with Tenure at the University of Colorado Boulder School of Law, specializing in health law, bioethics, and resource allocation. His research focuses on bioethics and distributive justice in health law and policy, addressing allocation of scarce medical resources, pharmaceutical pricing and access, health insurance design, mitigation of health disparities, ethics and regulation of human subjects research, comparative professional ethics, and legal/ethical issues in biotechnologies such as gene editing and neuroscientific interventions. Previously affiliated with the University of Denver Sturm College of Law as Assistant Professor of Law (2018–c. 2023).
