About
Gabriel (Gabi) Siboni is an Israeli Colonel (res.) in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), a renowned national security specialist, and an academic with expertise in military strategy and operations, military technology, cyber warfare, force buildup, and cyber security. He served as Deputy and chief methodologist of the IDF Research Center for Force Deployment and Buildup (2005-2021) and continues as an ongoing consultant to the IDF. He is the former Director of the Military and Strategic Affairs Program and Cyber Security Program at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) (2006-2020), editor and founder of the Military and Strategic Affairs academic journal at INSS, a researcher at the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy, a research fellow at the Israel Center for Grand Strategy (ICGS), and a Senior Research Fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS). Academically, he is an associate professor in Cyber Security Management and a part-time lecturer at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV) in Madrid, Spain, where he co-founded the Cyber Security Management Program, and serves as a keynote speaker on national security topics. He is also a co-author, with Hadas Klein, on relevant works.
