Frank Kitzerow is a veteran law enforcement professional with over 40 years of experience, beginning his career in 1979 as a police officer. He advanced to the role of Major in the Fairfax County Police Department in Virginia and by 2003 had become a police chief, serving in departments in Fairfax and Portsmouth, Virginia, accumulating 18 years as a police chief across traditional and school-based policing roles. He served as Chief of Police for the Jupiter Police Department in Florida from 2007 to 2021. After his time in Virginia, Kitzerow later served as Chief of Police and School Safety Specialist for the Palm Beach County School District, starting in July 2018, before resigning. He was subsequently hired as Town Manager for the Town of Jupiter, Florida, where he serves as the chief administrative officer appointed by the Town Council, responsible for directing all town functions and activities.
