About
Dallas Woodhouse, born in 1975, is an American political operative and former broadcast journalist based in North Carolina. He earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from North Carolina State University and began his professional career in the late 1990s as a political reporter and television host at NBC-17, the NBC affiliate in Raleigh, where he worked for six years. Following his time in journalism, Woodhouse gained experience in rural North Carolina affairs through roles at the North Carolina Department of Agriculture under Commissioner Steve Troxler and with USDA Rural Development. He previously served as Executive Director of the North Carolina Republican Party and as state director for Americans for Prosperity. Woodhouse is the brother of Brad Woodhouse, a prominent Democratic political strategist, placing the siblings on opposite sides of major political debates such as health care reform. He currently serves as the elections liaison to Republican State Auditor Dave Boliek, focusing on election integrity efforts and appointments to state and local election boards in North Carolina.
