Charles David Todd, known professionally as Chuck Todd, is an American journalist born on April 8, 1972, in Miami, Florida. A prominent political journalist for NBC News, he rose to prominence as a political analyst and moderator of NBC's Meet the Press, the longest-running television program in American broadcasting history, from 2014 until his departure from NBC in 2025. Todd served as NBC News' Chief Political Director and Analyst from 2007 to 2025, and previously was NBC News' Chief White House Correspondent covering the Obama administration. He also hosted The Daily Rundown on MSNBC, contributed as an on-air political analyst for NBC Nightly News and Today, and anchored primetime election programming. Known for in-depth interviews with high-profile political figures like Senator Charles Grassley, Todd left NBC in 2025 to host his podcast 'The Chuck ToddCast' and pursue other ventures.
