About
Caroline B. Glick is an Israeli-American conservative journalist, author, political commentator, and policy analyst known for her staunch pro-Israel advocacy and hawkish views on Middle East policy. Born in 1969 in Houston, Texas, and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in 1991, the same year she made aliyah to Israel and enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Serving as an officer for over five years in the IDF's Judge Advocate General division during the First Intifada, she edited and co-authored the book "Israel, the Intifada, and the Rule of Law." Between 1994 and 1996, as a captain, she coordinated negotiations with the Palestinian Authority following the Oslo Accords. After leaving the IDF in 1996, she served as an assistant foreign policy advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his first term (1997–1998), and returned in early 2025 as an International Affairs Advisor.
Glick pursued a career in journalism and policy analysis, working as an assistant foreign editor and later as deputy managing editor at The Jerusalem Post. She is currently a senior contributing editor at the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) and hosts "The Caroline Glick Show." She is also an adjunct senior fellow for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C., and directs the Israeli Security Project as a senior fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. Throughout her career, she has contributed to outlets including Israel Hayom, Breitbart News, and Maariv, and collaborated with organizations such as the Endowment for Middle East Truth.
In 2019, Glick ran as a candidate on the New Right party's list for the Knesset but was not elected. She is the author of "The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East" (2014), advocating for Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and promotion of a one-state solution. Residing in Efrat within the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, her commentary emphasizes a hardline stance on Israel's security, opposition to territorial concessions, criticism of Palestinian leadership, and critique of international policies and U.S. foreign policy under certain administrations. Glick is recognized as a prominent voice in conservative and pro-Israel circles, influencing media, think tanks, and political activism.
