About
Benny Sagol is an Israeli businessman and the brother of Sami Sagol and Rami Sagol, sons of Josef Sagol, who founded Keter Group in 1948 as a small plastics workshop in northern Israel. He is a co-owner of Keter Group, the world's largest manufacturer of plastic household, garden, and pet products, which the Sagol brothers transformed into a global enterprise with operations in over 20 countries, annual revenues exceeding $1.5 billion prior to major ownership changes, and a workforce of thousands. Benny has been involved in the family's business operations and strategic decisions alongside his siblings. In March 2019, Keter Group was acquired by private equity firm BC Partners in a transaction valued at approximately $1.6 billion, with the Sagol family retaining a minority stake. Benny Sagol maintains a low public profile but shares in the family's wealth, estimated to have made the siblings billionaires. The Sagols have engaged in joint philanthropy, including donations to Israeli causes, hospitals, and educational institutions, often in collaboration with Sami Sagol.
