Zev Golan is an Israeli historian, author, and Senior Research Fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Market Studies (JIMS), where he previously served as Director of the Public Policy Center. In the 1970s, he emerged as one of the world's leading Nazi hunters, working in coordination with Simon Wiesenthal and the Israeli Police to bring to justice notable figures including Romanian cleric and former fascist Valerian Trifa, as well as former Nazi collaborator Boleslavs Maikovskis. Golan immigrated to Israel in 1979, establishing his career there in historical research and public policy analysis focused on market-oriented studies. He also serves as Executive Director of IASPS Jerusalem.
