About
Tzvi Kahn is a foreign policy expert specializing in Iran, serving as Research Fellow and Senior Editor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) in Washington, DC. He is also a Director/Board Member at the American Israel Education Foundation. Previously, he worked as a senior policy analyst at the Foreign Policy Initiative, focusing on Iran's nuclear program and regional ambitions, and as assistant director for policy and government affairs at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). In 2016, he testified before the U.S. Congress regarding the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA). Kahn frequently contributes articles to publications including Foreign Affairs, The Hill, Politico, U.S. News & World Report, National Review, and The New York Post, and provides media commentary on Iran via television and radio. He has held fellowships such as the George C. Marshall Fellows Program at The Heritage Foundation, the Penn Kemble Forum on Democracy at the National Endowment for Democracy, and FDD's National Security Fellows Program. Kahn earned an MA in Middle East Studies from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and a BA in English and Classical Languages from Yeshiva University.
