Tammy K. Bruce is an American conservative radio host, author, and political commentator. Born on August 20, 1962, in Los Angeles, California, she gained prominence through her syndicated talk show and frequent contributions to conservative media platforms like PragerU and Fox News, where she also hosted "Get Tammy Bruce" on Fox Nation. Bruce is known for her outspoken conservative views and her unique position as an openly lesbian commentator within the conservative movement. She previously served as president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) but resigned in 1999. More recently, Bruce has taken on significant government roles, serving as spokeswoman for the United States Department of State from January to August 2025 and subsequently as United States Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations since December 2025.
