Shoshana Milchan (née Gavrieli) (May 15, 1923 – 2021) was the wife of Dov Milchan (1912–1966), a fertilizer company owner who died suddenly in 1965. She was the mother of film producer Arnon Milchan and Dalia Hirsch. Her ancestry traces to European Jewish disciples of the Vilna Gaon who immigrated to Palestine in the early 19th century; she belonged to the eighth generation of the Gabriel/Gavrieli family in the region. In the early 1980s, amid revelations of her son's involvement in arms procurement for Israel, she tearfully complained to him about media labeling him an 'arms dealer.'
