Shlomo Filber, born on May 21, 1963, in Jerusalem, Israel, is an Israeli lawyer, advocate, and former high-ranking government official. He is the son of Yaakov Filber. Filber served as the Director General of Israel's Ministry of Communications and previously acted as office manager for Benjamin Netanyahu. He held senior management roles in major Israeli companies and consulted for mayors. Filber gained prominence as a state witness in the criminal trials of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, testifying against him in cases involving corruption allegations. On May 18, 2022, he appeared at a hearing in the Jerusalem District Court during Netanyahu's trial, where reports indicated that his state witness agreement was to be annulled. Filber claimed he was subjected to assault by the Israel Prison Service to coerce testimony against Netanyahu.
