Scott Walker Hahn (born October 28, 1957) is an American Catholic theologian, author, apologist, and professor renowned for his contributions to biblical theology and Catholic apologetics. Initially raised in a Protestant environment, he earned a B.A. magna cum laude from Grove City College (1979), an M.Div. summa cum laude from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (1982), and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Marquette University (1995). After ten years of Protestant pastoral ministry, he converted to Catholicism in 1986. Since 1990, he has been a professor of theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, where he is a prominent figure in conservative Catholic circles. Hahn founded the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology to promote biblical literacy and is a prolific author with over 100 books, including bestsellers like 'The Lamb's Supper' and 'Rome Sweet Home' (co-authored with his wife, Kimberly), which detail his conversion journey. His works emphasize covenant theology, the Eucharist, Scripture, and traditional Catholic doctrines. He is also affiliated with the Sophia Institute as a fellow and author. Hahn's influence extends through media appearances, conferences, and speaking engagements worldwide. He is married with six children and promotes the domestic church ideal in his writings.
