About
Scott Foval is a Democratic political operative who gained notoriety during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. He served as National Field Director for Americans United for Change, a progressive Super PAC focused on Democratic causes, and worked as a consultant for Democracy Partners, a political consulting firm founded by Robert Creamer. Foval was involved in coordinating grassroots operations and field activities for left-leaning organizations aimed at influencing elections, including 2016 election operations for Democrats-aligned groups. In October 2016, Project Veritas released undercover videos (first on 2016-10-17) in which Foval was recorded boasting about orchestrating disruptions at Donald Trump rallies. He described inciting violence, staging arrests, and using agitators to create incidents that could be blamed on Trump supporters, stating, 'The job of the agitator is to get arrested' and claiming responsibility for past riots. The videos implicated a network involving Creamer's firm and other Democratic operatives in alleged election disruption tactics. Following the exposure, Foval was immediately fired from Americans United for Change and Democracy Partners on 2016-10-18. The incident drew widespread media coverage and criticism, highlighting concerns over political dirty tricks. Foval has since maintained a low profile, with limited public activity post-scandal.
