Saul Singer (Hebrew: שאול זינגר) is an American-born Israeli-American journalist and author. He began his career in the United States as a congressional staffer specializing in foreign policy and legislative advising for members of Congress. Approximately 30 years ago, he moved to Israel, where he served as chief speechwriter for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from 1996 to 1999. Singer later became the editorial page editor and columnist at The Jerusalem Post, contributing articles to prominent outlets such as The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. He gained international recognition as co-author, with Dan Senor, of the New York Times bestseller 'Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle' (2009), which explores Israel's innovation ecosystem through interviews with entrepreneurs, politicians, religious leaders, and others. He followed this with 'The Genius of Israel' (2023), another bestseller examining Israel's societal and innovative strengths. Singer is a sought-after keynote speaker at global innovation conferences, including in Beijing, sharing insights on what Israel teaches other nations about fostering innovation. He continues to write and speak on topics related to Israel's economic and innovative prowess.
