Robert G. Goldstein is an American business executive renowned for his long tenure and leadership at Las Vegas Sands Corporation (LVS), a major global developer and operator of integrated resorts. Born in 1955, he joined the company in December 1995 in a marketing role, shortly before the opening of The Venetian Las Vegas, in which he played a key part in development. He advanced through various senior positions, including president of The Venetian upon its 1999 opening, and later served as president and chief operating officer (COO) under Sheldon Adelson, overseeing global gaming operations in Asia and the United States, with his career spanning the company's finance and operations divisions for over two decades. In January 2021, Goldstein was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Las Vegas Sands, succeeding as CEO after Adelson's death and assuming the chair role while continuing as a director since 2015. Under his leadership, he has guided the company's expansion and operations across its properties, emphasizing industry-leading practices in gaming and hospitality and playing a key role in the company's global expansion.
