Robert Creamer is an American Democratic political strategist, organizer, and consultant with over four decades of experience. He founded the Strategic Consulting Group and Democracy Partners, firms that have worked on major progressive issue campaigns, including the successful effort to defeat Social Security privatization. Creamer served as a senior advisor to Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and has been involved in numerous Democratic organizing efforts. He began his career in 1970 with Chicago's Citizen Action Program (CAP), the last project of community organizer Saul Alinsky, where he was trained by executive director Peter Martinez; the two later became partners in consulting work. His career has focused on grassroots organizing and strategic campaigning for progressive causes across the United States.
