Rob Brzezinski is the Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Minnesota Vikings, a role he has held since 2014, with the organization since 1999 when he joined as director of football administration and advanced to vice president of football administration in 2001. In February 2026, following the firing of general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, he assumed the role of interim general manager. He grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, graduating from Cathedral Preparatory School in 1988 before attending Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in education in 1992 and a Juris Doctor in 1995. He is a member of the Florida Bar. Brzezinski launched his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins in 1993 as staff counsel and salary cap manager, holding the position through 1998. Known among staff as 'Rob Zombie' for his stoic demeanor, he has negotiated over $1 billion in player contracts, including extensions for stars like Justin Jefferson, Christian Darrisaw, and T.J. Hockenson. Brzezinski is married to Leah Brzezinski, who holds a doctoral degree in education. The couple, who reside in Edina, Minnesota, adopted five children from Korea: sons Ki and Jae, and daughters Grace, Anna, and Rose. In 2014, they founded Arete Academy in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, a nonprofit school for twice-exceptional gifted children facing learning challenges like ADHD, anxiety, and dyslexia.
