Rabbi Yaakov Glasser is the Managing Director of Communal Engagement at the Orthodox Union. He grew up in Los Angeles, California, where he was deeply influenced by his parents' commitment to Jewish communal service. After graduating from Yeshiva University High Schools of Los Angeles, he continued his Torah studies in Israel for two years, laying the foundation for his lifelong dedication to Jewish education and leadership. Throughout his career, Rabbi Glasser has held significant roles in Jewish organizations, including Regional Director of New Jersey NCSY and NCSY International Director of Education. He served as Rabbi of the Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton, now Rabbi Emeritus, and was formerly the Dean of Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future. Renowned for his dynamic teaching style, he excels at connecting Torah values to contemporary life, fostering impact across diverse communities and generations.
