Rabbi Daniel Cohen, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, is the Senior Rabbi of Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, CT, and a prominent Modern Orthodox leader and educator. He attended Yeshiva University in New York, graduating from both the undergraduate program and its Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration, and received his rabbinic ordination (semicha) from Yeshiva University's Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS). Early in his career, he served as a rabbi in West Orange, New Jersey, accumulating over twenty years of experience in the rabbinate before taking leadership in Stamford. He is known for his work in Jewish outreach, interfaith dialogue, and community building. In addition to his rabbinic duties, Rabbi Cohen is a motivational speaker who shares a blend of Jewish wisdom and spiritual insight. He authored the book 'What Will They Say About You When You Are Gone? Creating a Life of Legacy,' focusing on building a meaningful life and legacy. His work extends to education and community leadership within Modern Orthodox circles.
