Pamela Sue Evette is an American businesswoman and politician serving as the 93rd Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina since January 9, 2019. A Republican, she was elected on the same ticket as Governor Henry McMaster, marking the first time a lieutenant governor was chosen this way in South Carolina. Prior to her political career, Evette was the CEO of Quality Business Solutions, a staffing and professional employer organization (PEO) in Upstate South Carolina, where she focused on providing human resources services to small and medium-sized businesses. As a trained accountant and former CFO with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Cleveland State University, she built a successful career emphasizing customer growth and navigating regulatory challenges for businesses. Evette is a conservative leader who has aligned herself with America-First principles and supported President Donald Trump. Born on August 28, 1967, in Anderson, Ohio, as the granddaughter of Polish immigrants, she embodies the American dream through hard work and determination. Evette is married to David Evette and has three children: Amanda, Joseph, and Jackson. A Baptist, she resides in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina, and has become a champion for business growth, education, and family values in her role as lieutenant governor.
