Noam Katz is a senior career diplomat with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, specializing in public diplomacy and strategic communications. He served as Consul General of Israel to the Southwestern United States, based in Los Angeles, from August 2013 to 2018, succeeding Matan Arad and managing diplomatic outreach across California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Texas. Following this role, he was appointed Deputy Director General of Public Diplomacy at the Ministry in Jerusalem, directing global strategic communication efforts. He currently serves as Ambassador of Israel to Greece, based in Athens.
