Mike Gronager is a Danish entrepreneur renowned as the co-founder and former CEO of Chainalysis, a leading blockchain analytics firm established in 2014 in New York City alongside Jonathan Levin. Chainalysis specializes in software that traces cryptocurrency transactions across blockchains, aiding law enforcement, governments, and financial institutions in investigating illicit activities such as money laundering, ransomware, and darknet operations. Under Gronager's leadership as CEO, the company grew rapidly, securing major contracts with agencies like the FBI, IRS, and international authorities, and raising hundreds of millions in venture funding from investors including Accel and Paradigm. In 2023, Gronager stepped down as CEO to become Chief Product Officer, continuing to drive product innovation and research at Chainalysis.
