Liran Eshel is the co-founder, CEO, and Active Chairman of CTERA Networks Inc., a company specializing in cloud storage and edge caching solutions. He brings over two decades of experience in IT management and technology leadership to the role. Prior to founding CTERA, Eshel served as CEO of SofaWare Technologies, which was acquired by Check Point Software Technologies. Earlier in his career, he was an officer in an elite technological unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he managed various R&D teams. Eshel holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University. His professional network includes a board member relationship with Yoav Leitersdorf. Eshel is passionate about emerging technologies and has demonstrated a strong track record in building and scaling tech companies in the cybersecurity and storage sectors.
