Laurie Moskowitz Hirsch is the daughter of Dr. Irving I. Moskowitz, a physician and philanthropist who died in 2016, and Cherna Moskowitz (née Shovers), who passed away in August 2024. She has siblings including brother David Moskowitz and sister Judith Moskowitz Schultz, among eight children total. Married to Yigal H. Hirsch since approximately 1974. Professionally, she serves as Director and President of the Cherna Moskowitz Foundation in Hallandale Beach, FL, assuming leadership following her mother's death in 2024, and holds various roles including Secretary/CFO (earlier) and Director/Principal Officer (recent filings) at the Irving I. Moskowitz Foundation, overseeing its operations and financial management. Active in pro-Israel causes and philanthropy, continuing her parents' legacy of supporting Jewish and Zionist organizations, she is a board member of Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI), national board member of the Hebron Fund, involved with Yashar LaChayal, recipient of the Presidential Award from American Friends of Bar-Ilan University, and visited the Itamar settlement in 2011 on behalf of the family foundation.
