Kimberly O. Dennis is a distinguished leader in conservative and libertarian philanthropy with a career spanning over four decades at the intersection of public policy and institutional grantmaking. She began her professional journey in 1980 at the John M. Olin Foundation under the mentorship of former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon. Dennis served as the first executive director of the Philanthropy Roundtable, transforming it into a key organization for high-net-worth donors committed to classical liberal and conservative principles. Currently, she is the president and CEO of the Searle Freedom Trust, known for her strategic foundation management and commitment to the foundation’s sunset provision, ensuring the prompt spending of assets to honor the donor's intent and prevent mission drift. She is also a co-founder and longtime chair of the board of directors of DonorsTrust and serves as chairman of the board for both DonorsTrust and its sister organization, Donors Capital Fund, overseeing conservative philanthropic efforts that have directed billions of dollars to free-market and limited-government initiatives. Her influence extends through board service at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), the Property and Environment Research Center (PERC), and the Arthur N. Rupe Foundation.
