About
Kent M. Swig, born on January 20, 1961, is a prominent New York real estate executive. He graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese History and later attended Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, where he was selected for the Law Review. Early in his career during the mid-1980s, Swig worked with the Macklowe Organization, where he met his wife, Elizabeth Macklowe, daughter of Harry Macklowe, through a blind date arranged by her father. He serves as President of Swig Equities, Co-Chairman of Terra Holdings/Brown Harris Stevens, and President of Helmsley Spear. Swig has been recognized with several awards, including Man of the Year by the Realty Foundation of New York in 2005 and by Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New York in 2000. He has served on various boards such as the Downtown Alliance, Wall Street Rising, the Association of Builders and Owners of New York, and the China Institute in America. Additionally, he is involved in State of Israel Bonds.
