About
Justin Binik-Thomas is a conservative activist, academic, business professional, and media figure based in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio region, residing in Deer Park, Ohio. He first gained public prominence around 2009-2010 as a spokesman and founding member of the Cincinnati Tea Party, and also founded the 9/12 Project in Cincinnati. His involvement in Tea Party activities extended to national events, including speaking on Capitol Hill on May 17, 2013, during a House Ways and Means Committee discussion, where he testified about the IRS scandal that revealed he was personally named in a questionnaire to the Liberty Township Tea Party—an organization he had no affiliation with. This controversy led to national media appearances on CNN and C-SPAN, and participation in a 2013 Tea Party rally featured on C-SPAN. Concurrently with his political activism, Binik-Thomas built a career in contract management and clinical research. He earned a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) and a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Associate of Arts from the University of Cincinnati. As of 2025, he serves as a Faculty Associate in the Edson College of Clinical Research Management at Arizona State University, where he teaches courses on research management and quality. His research focuses on ethical contracting, patient access, and financial risk mitigation, and he has published peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Journal of Applied Business and Economics. He previously owned Conservative Media Group in Deer Park, Ohio. He is married to Casey and has two children, and is actively involved in his local Jewish community, having served as a volunteer chaplain at his synagogue and as a religious school teacher. He maintains a personal website at binikthomas.com, which links to his LinkedIn profile, indicating ongoing professional presence in conservative and academic circles.
