About
Charles-Judson Wallace, known as Judson or CJ Wallace, is a Princeton University alumnus (class of 2005) and accomplished former professional basketball player. Born on December 31, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, he attended The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, where he lettered in basketball during his junior and senior years. At Princeton, Wallace played center for the Tigers men's basketball team from 2001 to 2005 as a walk-on freshman under the mentorship of team captain Pete Hegseth. He contributed significantly to Ivy League championships in 2002 and 2004, leading the team in points and rebounds during his junior and senior years and earning All-Ivy honors in three seasons, including first-team in 2004. Wallace and Hegseth, who became close friends, collaborated on The Princeton Tory conservative newspaper during their time at university. After graduation, Wallace pursued a 11-year professional basketball career (2005-2016) in Europe and Puerto Rico, earning millions as a power forward/center for teams including Eisbären Bremerhaven (Germany, 2005-2007), Orlandina Basket (Italy, 2007-2008; led league in rebounding), Benetton Treviso (Italy, 2008-2010), Gran Canaria (Spain, 2010-2011), FC Barcelona (Spain, 2011-2013; won Spanish League 2012, Cup 2013, Super Cup 2011), Emporio Armani Milano (Italy, 2013-2014; Italian League champion 2014), Élan Chalon (France, 2014), Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France, 2015), and Capitanes de Arecibo (Puerto Rico, 2016). Post-retirement, he earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and worked as a Private Wealth Advisor in Investment Management at Goldman Sachs. As of 2026, he serves as Managing Director at White Rabbit Capital. Personally, Wallace credits his high school mentor Paxton Cummings for his success; his father passed away in 2011, and he has a mother and younger brother (names unknown). He maintains a close friendship with Pete Hegseth, with regular lunches in Manhattan and family visits to Fox News studios.
