Jianhong Yin, also known as Peng Ou, is a Chinese national born in Haiyang, Shandong Province (ID: 370684197703270054). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Renmin University of China (2000). Yin founded Sunlands Technology Group (formerly Sunlands Online Education Group) in 2003, leading its transition from offline to online post-secondary and professional education services. Headquartered in Beijing, China, the company went public on the NYSE in 2018, where Yin rang the opening bell. He served as Founder, Chairman of the Board, Director, and Chief Executive Officer until December 2020, and currently chairs the Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
