Jerry DeLemus is a custom builder and carpenter based in Farmington, New Hampshire, where he has operated his business, Master Builder, since 1977. He gained national prominence as a political activist and leader in the Patriot movement, founding the Rochester 9/12 Project, a conservative grassroots organization in New Hampshire. During the 2016 presidential election cycle, he served as co-chairman of Donald Trump's New Hampshire veterans coalition. DeLemus was a central figure in the 2014 armed standoff at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, where he led armed confrontations against federal law enforcement. In 2016, he was arrested and convicted for his role in the standoff, with prosecutors noting he brought a.50 caliber sniper rifle to the site. He was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison, served approximately six years, and was released in November 2021. Following his release, supporters noted he engaged in ministry work during his incarceration.
