About
Jeff Henderson is the Founding Pastor of OakLeaf Christian Fellowship (now Maranatha Church of Jacksonville), which he planted in 2003 alongside his wife, Carol, and their four children, where he continues to serve. He transitioned from a career in commercial real estate to full-time ministry after a spiritual conversion in his twenties. Henderson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University in 1986 and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary between 1998 and 2001. He previously served in several United Methodist fellowships. Since 2021, Henderson has served as Director of Frontier Alliance International (FAI), following his tenure as Board Chairman. He co-directs the Malachi Network, focused on missionary care, and holds board positions at Cornerstone International and Dugit Messianic Center. Additionally, he co-hosts FAI's 'The Better Beautiful' podcast with Stephanie Quick and maintains a ministry website at https://www.jeffhenderson.global. As part of FAI's board, Henderson was involved in addressing a 2023 GRACE investigation into leadership misconduct following founder Dalton Thomas's resignation over admitted infidelity. The board, including Henderson, acknowledged policy and cultural failures in 2025, apologized for harm caused, and implemented reforms separating FAI's media operations.
