J. Philip Rosen is a senior partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, one of the world's largest law firms, where he heads the Property Group and Hospitality and Gaming Group, and serves as a leader in the Corporate Department. Specializing in high-stakes real estate transactions, he is recognized as a top private equity lawyer in the property sector, advising opportunity funds, institutions, real estate investment trusts (REITs), joint ventures, and portfolio acquisitions. He entered Manhattan's real estate scene in 1985 by helping resolve legal obstacles for the development of the Peninsula Hotel. Beyond his legal career, Rosen is a prominent American Jewish leader and advocate, appointed to strengthen the World Jewish Congress's (WJC) U.S. operations amid rising antisemitism.
