Ira Stoll (born January 1, 1972) is an American journalist, editor, and columnist recognized for his conservative views and strong pro-Israel stance, as well as his involvement in media advocacy for right-wing causes. A graduate of Worcester Academy and Harvard University (class of 1994, where he served as president of The Harvard Crimson), Stoll began his career as Washington correspondent and managing editor of The Forward, followed by a role as North American editor of the Jerusalem Post. He later served as vice president and managing editor of The New York Sun, a conservative daily newspaper published from 2002 to 2008. From 2009 to 2024, he was editor of FutureOfCapitalism.com; from 2019 to 2023, managing editor of Education Next, an education policy journal at the Harvard Kennedy School; and he founded Smartertimes.com. Currently, Stoll is the editor of The Editors, a columnist for the Algemeiner, and contributes columns to The New York Sun, Reason, Newsmax, the New Boston Post, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
