The Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) is the largest division of Harvard University, encompassing undergraduate and graduate education in the arts and sciences. It administers several key components of the university, including Harvard College for undergraduate liberal arts education, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) for advanced degrees, the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), and the Division of Continuing Education, which includes the Harvard Extension School and other lifelong learning programs, among other divisions.
