Frederick W. Strahorn, born March 20, 1965, is a former Ohio House Minority Leader (Democrat). He initially served eight years in the Ohio House of Representatives before joining the Ohio United Way as vice-president of governmental affairs in early 2009. He was subsequently appointed to the Ohio State Senate, where he served for two years. Strahorn later returned to the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 39th District, which includes much of Dayton, Ohio. During his later tenure in the House, he held leadership positions including Minority Leader for the 131st (2015-2016) and 132nd (2017-2018) Ohio General Assemblies. Strahorn was unable to seek re-election in 2020 due to term limits. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Aviation Management from The Ohio State University, earned in 1989.
