About
Ellen R. Marram is an accomplished business executive and seasoned board leader with a distinguished career in marketing and leadership roles at major consumer goods companies. She holds an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College (1968) and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School (1970). Marram began her career in marketing at Lever Brothers, followed by Johnson & Johnson's Personal Products Co. In 1977, she joined Standard Brands Inc., advancing to vice president of marketing after its 1981 acquisition by Nabisco. From 1993 to 1998, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana and the Tropicana Beverage Group, transforming the company from a regional Florida juice producer into a health-focused global leader that achieved number one status in worldwide sales and profits. Currently, she is a Senior Managing Director at Brock Capital Group LLC and serves as Board Chair of DOROT, as well as a director for Ford Motor Company, The New York Times Company, Eli Lilly and Company, and several private companies and non-profit institutions.
