Daniel Feith is the eldest son of former Under Secretary of Defense Douglas Feith, operating within influential legal and policy networks in Washington, D.C. He attended the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, a prominent Jewish educational institution, before graduating from Harvard College and Yale Law School. Following his Yale Law graduation, he clerked for a judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan and subsequently for a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He later served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Consumer Protection Branch at the U.S. Department of Justice before transitioning to private practice as a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area.
