Dalck Feith was an Austrian-born American businessman, Holocaust survivor, and Betar member. He founded Dalco Manufacturing in Philadelphia in 1947 and owned the Dalco Co. since that year, while also serving as chairman of Lansdale Finishers, Inc., since 1956. He sat on the board of directors of the Bank & Trust Company of Old York Road. A philanthropist and donor to the Republican Party, Feith was appointed to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council by President Reagan and chaired the Philadelphia Holocaust Memorial committee. In 1979, he received an honorary Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was the father of Douglas J. Feith, who served as U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Policy under President George W. Bush. The family resided in Elkins Park, part of Cheltenham Township, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where his son Douglas grew up and attended Philadelphia's Central High School.
