Dalck Feith was a Polish-Jewish Holocaust survivor born in Łódź, Poland, in 1920. He survived the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II, where he lost much of his family. After immigrating to the United States in 1949, he settled in Philadelphia and worked as a furrier in the garment industry. Feith became a prominent activist in the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), a Trotskyist organization in the United States, where he advocated for workers' rights, civil liberties, and socialist causes. He played key roles in labor organizing and party leadership during the Cold War era. Feith was the father of Douglas Feith, a notable neoconservative figure, and provided legal support and defense for his son in various matters. He remained active in political circles until his later years, embodying the immigrant activist experience. Dalck Feith passed away in 2009, leaving a legacy as a survivor and fighter for social justice, bridging the traumas of the Holocaust with American radicalism.
