He is the Founder, President, and Research Director of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP), which he established to address institutional antisemitism, particularly in higher education, through research, policy advocacy, and educational initiatives. He previously served as a Research Scholar and Lecturer at Yale University's Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, where he focused on topics such as economic antisemitism and the socio-political dynamics of antisemitism in the 21st century. Small has authored numerous studies and reports on global antisemitism, including analyses of its manifestations in academia, media, and policy circles, often highlighting networks of influence and funding sources linked to Islamist groups.
