About
Carolyn Andriano was a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking operation, beginning her involvement at age 14 in the early 2000s when recruited by friend Virginia Roberts Giuffre to Epstein's Palm Beach mansion. There, Epstein abused her and offered payments of up to $300 per friend the girls brought. Andriano had endured prior trauma, including sexual abuse at age 4, and described her early life as troubled and chaotic. She became a key witness at Ghislaine Maxwell's 2021 trial, waiving anonymity and making additional claims post-conviction when Maxwell received a 20-year sentence. Andriano continued speaking publicly after Epstein-related documents were unsealed, with her mother Dorothy Groenert confirming her daughter's recruitment at 14. She struggled with drug addiction linked to the abuse. Tragically, Andriano died of an overdose in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2023.
