Brendan Steinhauser is a public affairs and communications strategist based in Austin, Texas, and a prominent conservative operative known for his work in grassroots organizing and campaign management. He is currently the CEO of The Alliance for Secure AI Action (as of 2025). Previously, he co-founded the public relations and political consulting firm Steinhauser Strategies in 2012 alongside his wife, Randan Steinhauser, where he serves as Partner. His professional background includes serving as Campaign Manager for U.S. Senator John Cornyn, being a Faculty Member at St. Edward's University, and managing political campaigns across more than 40 states. He gained national attention for his role in the Tea Party movement, specifically as the lead organizer of the September 12, 2009 Taxpayer March on Washington. He was also the Republican nominee for Hays County Judge. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Federal and State Campaigns for FreedomWorks.
