Bradley Scott Schneider, born on August 20, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, is the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 10th congressional district, now serving his sixth term after initial election in 2012 (2013-2015), reclaiming the seat in 2016, and winning reelection in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024. A prominent pro-Israel voice in the Democratic Party, he serves on the House Ways and Means and Foreign Affairs Committees, chairs the New Democrat Coalition, vice-chairs the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, and co-chairs the Bulgaria Caucus and Abraham Accords Caucus, while participating in groups addressing sustainable energy, pro-choice issues, and antisemitism. Schneider graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Denver, earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Northwestern University around 1983, worked on a kibbutz in Israel, and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 1988. He built a nearly three-decade career in business consulting, including roles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, managing principal of Davis Dann Adler Schneider, LLC (1997-2003), director of strategic services at Blackman Kallick, and founder of Cadence Consulting Group (2008). Schneider has deep community ties, serving with organizations like the Jewish United Fund, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Waukegan Public Library Foundation, and others. He and his wife Julie have resided in the district for over 30 years, initially in Deerfield where they raised sons Adam and Daniel—whom he coached in sports for over 12 years—later moving to Highland Park with their rescue dog JoJo.
